Sunday, February 28 – Evening departure to Cairo
You will depart Israel on the El Al flight to Cairo. A company representative will meet you at the Cairo International Airport and escort you to the hotel where you will have a light meal before retiring for the night.

Monday, March 1 – Giza Pyramids

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for the dramatic Giza Pyramids.    Visit the Solar Boat Museum to see the enormous boats thought to transport the bodies of the Pharaohs.   The visit to the Sphinx will be by camel.    Following a customary lunch, you will travel to Sakarah and visit the oldest pyramid and the tombs of the nobles from ancient Egypt.  In the evening, enjoy the Nile Dinner Cruise.

Tuesday, March 2 – Medieval Cairo & Luxor Temples

Following breakfast you will check out of the hotel and fly to Abu Simbel via Aswan.  View the enormous temples built during the reign of Pharaoh Rameses II for his queen, Neferta.   Visit high dam and enjoy the felucca (boat) ride to the Philae Temple.  In the evening you will view the the spectacular Luxor Temple.  Dinner at hotel.

Wednesday, March  3 – Luxor

This morning the tour will cross the Nile to the Valley of Kings to visit a number of pharaohs’ tombs.  You will see Deir El Backri (Queen Hatshepsut Temple), and the tombs of nobles.,  In the afternoon, following lunch, you will visit Medinat Habau (Temple of Ramses III) Ramseseum and colossi Memnon.  You will conclude  the day with visit to the famous Karnak Temple, one of the largest religious sites in the world.   In the evening you will dine at one of the local restaurants.

Thursday, March  4 –Cairo & departure

Following breakfast we will depart for a flight to Cairo to visit the famous Egyptian Museum which houses the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities. You will lunch at Abu Tarik, visit Ben Ezra Synagogue and the  Cairo International Airport for El Al flight to Ben Gurion Airport.
