Visit one of the greatest wonders of the world, the
amazing Nabatean City of Petra. See the magnificent map in Madaba & Mt. Nevo,
Jerash and Amman.
Friday, February 4 – Petra
 Depart
the hotel early Friday morning for the flight to Amman, Jordan.
Your guide will meet you at the Amman airport and escort you to Petra to
begin your full day tour of ancient Petra, one of the seven ancient
wonders of the world. You will first enter the outer Siq Canyon on foot
viewing the Obelisk Tombs before arriving at the famous Treasury
Building. In addition to these first dramatic sites, you will see
spectacular monuments such as the theater, Winged Lion Temple, the
Byzantine Church, Brown University Dig and Nabatean Temple and the
Nabatean Museum. Lunch will be provided in the Basin
Restaurant. The tour continues to E-Dir, Dinner and overnight
at the luxurious Crowne Plaza Hotel, Petra (or similar hotel).
Saturday, February 5 – Mt. Nevo, Medaba
& Jerash
 After
breakfast, visit Mt. Nevo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land & the site
of his burial. Travel to the famous Madaba Map of the ancient Middle East
from 1500 years ago, before touring ancient Philadelphia, Amman of today,
Jordan’s capital city. Drive north to the Decapolis city of Jerash before
crossing the border at the Sheik Hussein bridge where you will transfer to
the Israeli side and travel back to the City Hotel in Tel Aviv.
